Working hours and leaves

This section helps tutors set their availability, define working hours, and manage time off or leaves to ensure accurate scheduling and smooth coordination with students.

Wise allows tutors to manage their availability effectively by setting up working hours and applying for leaves as needed. Keeping this information up to date ensures that students can only book sessions during valid time slots and helps prevent scheduling conflicts.

Setting Working Hours

You can define your availability by setting working hours for each day of the week. Wise supports multiple slots per day, allowing you to tailor your schedule flexibly.

To set your working hours:

  1. Go to the Working Hours

  2. Select the day you want to configure.

  3. Add one or more time slots (e.g., 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM).

  4. Repeat this for other days as needed.

  5. Save your changes.

Students will only see and book within the time slots you’ve defined.

Adding Leaves

If you're planning to be unavailable for a specific day or period, you can mark it as a leave.

To apply for leave:

  1. Navigate to the Leaves tab or section within your account.

  2. Click Add Leave.

  3. Choose the date or date range.

  4. Optionally, add a reason for the leave (visible to admins only).

  5. Save.

During your leave period, your availability will be automatically blocked, and students won’t be able to book sessions with you.

By keeping your working hours and leaves updated, you ensure a smooth experience for both yourself and your students.
